1. God
The only way to find your J10 life is found in discovering Gods character.
2. Living our J10 life
God’s dream for us is greater than the dream we have for ourselves. When we look to God and live for Him we will live that dream. We call that living our J10 life.
3. People
People were obviously important to God and they are important to us. He chose people to be His church. We are told to love God we must love people. We simply want to connect people to God and their J10 life. We will love people by serving, accepting, encouraging, and being transparent together.
4. Fun
Relax! God is creative and fun. When people come into J10 we want it to be the highlight of their week. Not because we have to, and therefore marked it off our list; But, because we GET TO. We have fun with our music, videos, dress code (or lack there of) coffee, food, language, and laughter. After all,how do you live your J10 life if you aren’t having fun. A phrase we use is: “We take God serious but not ourselves.” That means if you hang out long enough we will more than likely make fun of you.
5. Giving
God has called us to give. We WILL be a giving and generous church. We give with our money and our time. When you experience the blessing of giving you will experience your J10 life.
6. Student ministry
Our greatest level of impact is found in the lives of students in the Ashburn area. For most students, life is about schedules and expectations. We want them to know God’s dream for them and their J10 life.
7. Numbers
Because God said to go spread the gospel, we can’t afford to say numbers aren’t important. We call all J10ers to invest and invite our friends, neighbors, and church family. We aren’t interested in just our J10 life but the J10 life of others. When we invest in the lives of others and invite them to take their next step, every area of the church will grow. We will approach numeric growth strategically and intensely.
8. Prayer
Prayer is a direct line to God. We as a church want to connect with God in prayer as we seek out living our J10 life. We will do this a a group and individually.
